Dr. Lysa Eastman, PSY 26892 has been in the mental health field for over 20 years. After earning dual Master’s Degrees from Loyola Marymount University she worked with a diversity of children, adolescents, and their families as a School Psychologist. She supported them through the challenges of dealing with learning disabilities, life transitions, crisis, relational issues, depression, and anxiety. She later worked collaboratively with South Bay schools to create educational plans that tailored to individual’s needs and optimized academic performance.

Later, she earned her PhD in Clinical Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute. She received advanced training in Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy at the Wright Institute Los Angeles (WILA) through the completion of their Doctoral Internship and Postgraduate Certificate Program.

Dr. Eastman’s practice focus

In her private practice she focuses now on treating clients dealing with depression, anxiety, distressing life events, relationship problems, self-destructive habits, and desire for growth and change. She works with adults and couples; offering a no-cost initial consultation over the phone.
